ABOUT US

Plumb Solar, was founded by Kai Casswell in 2007, initially as a small renewable energy installer, specialising in solar thermal. We have over 18 years experience in fitting and repairing solar thermal. We also carry out plumbing and heating work, underfloor heating and hot water cylinder (vented and unvented) installations and repairs.

Kai has an Engineering Degree in Materials Science from Imperial College, London, 1996. 

Plumb Solar was one of the first companies in 2007 to become MCS Accredited, and Kai holds qualifications in general Plumbing and Heating, Solar Thermal, Air Source Heat Pumps, G3 Unvented cylinders, WRAS and Low Temperature Heating Design.

In his spare time he enjoys Paragliding, Snowboarding and his daughter Amy is current British Champion in Snowboarding Freestyle: Slopestyle and Big Air.
